So, right now my husband and I are going through our 3rd deployment. If you know anything about the military and deployments, you know that communication can sometimes be....well....crappy. There the every once in a while phone call, the sometimes skype, the email if the internet works and well...good old fashioned snail mail. I would so much rather hear my husbands voice on the other end of the line than get an email, but then I got to thinking.....wouldn't it be nice to have a letter...handwritten...to hold onto. Something that I could always pull out of the drawer and read if I needed a little pick me up or just to smile. That would be pretty awesome! You see....the world is so techologically advanced these days that people just don't sit down and write letters anymore, so my challenge to myself is to handwrite one letter a month to my husband until he gets back. Who knows....I might just get one back from him. Guess we will have to wait and see.
